121 Pre-16
Our learning programmes are designed by our expert curriculum team and centres on the clearly and accurately identified needs of each learner.
Navigators 121 Alternative Education Programme is a personalised educational pathway designed for young people aged 9–16 who face challenges thriving in their current school environment. It provides structured academic support, 121 mentoring and a nurturing setting to help learners re‑engage with education and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Our programmes support learners to:
- Establish relationships, build on areas of interest and develop strengths of each student.
- Nurture the child to allow them to believe in themselves again.
- Develop social and ethical intelligence to support each student to make better informed decisions in and outside of the home, improving confidence and aspirations.
- Support academic success by working to a curriculum tailored to the student and their identified needs.
- Offer support to progress from 121 into small group settings.
- Prepare the student for their next stage, whatever that may be, in their lifelong learning pathway.
