Our Team

Navigators has over 120 staff, of which 90 are Learning Support Mentors. 

We find the best mentors, recruiting compassionate and empathetic staff, many with lived experience of some of the challenges our students face.

Our founder, a looked after child himself, has decades of experience in the youth work & education sector. It is his vision which has evolved gradually into the Navigators programme, now the region’s leading Alternative Provision. To support our mentors we have a highly experienced senior management team made up of teachers, social workers and mental health professionals. We are a skilled community of people who are passionate about supporting young people strive for educational excellence and promote lifelong learning.
