Careers and Employability

Navigators College offers a comprehensive careers programme designed to empower learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We do this by fostering the development essential skills needed within the workplace. We support our learners into the next steps in their learning and employment.

Through our programme learners will identify their own keys skills, explore different learning, and career pathways, which match their interests and make them feel empowered, so they are able to make informed decisions about their next steps.

Our Careers Programme has been developed to meet the expectations outlined in the Gatsby Benchmarks. We have embedded the six learning areas set out in the Career Development Framework. The essential skills learners will be developing are set out in the Skills Builder Partnership- The Universal Framework 2.0.
